POWER-GEN EUROPE, POWERGRID EUROPE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY WORLD EUROPE MEETs the
energy challenge IN COLOGNE AND BEYOND
Cologne, May
28th 2009 – The 2009 POWER-GEN
Europe, POWERGRID Europe and Renewable Energy World Europe conference and
exhibition closed on high note with over 11,600 visitors over the three day
event. With over 450 exhibitors occupying some 13,000 sq metres, the combined
shows proved to be an excellent platform to present new technological solutions
and open up networking opportunities.

JOINT PLENARY SESSION
The popular Plenary session will take place on Wednesday 27 May: 14:00. – 15:30
- Konrad-Adenauer-Saal, KoelnMesse Congress Centre and will addresses
the underlying issue affecting all business decisions right now, “Meeting the Energy
Challenge in the Face of the Economic Downturn.”
The Plenary Session discussions will be moderated by Vijay Vaitheeswaran,
the award-wining correspondent for The Economist magazine, .
